Traveler Days WEEKEND ONE - April 22-25
A great many Union Tourism Association (UTA) member businesses are kicking off our first "Traveler Days" celebration (and marking the 40th anniversary of Earth Day) by taking some sort of green action. These "Acts of Green" are part of the Earth Day Network's (www.EarthDay.org) international celebration, and include Harmony Hill Retreat Center switching to more energy efficient light bulbs; South Shore Massage going to completely organic, paraben-free massage oils and biodegradable laundry detergent, SmartMeme Studios volunteering with the Washington Trails Association to restore the "South Coast Wilderness Trail" in Olympic National Park; and both the Cameo Boutique and Hood Canal Vacation Rentals instituting recycling programs for their business locations.

More, the three following organizations are sponsoring public “Acts of Green” that you're invited to participate in as part of the kick-off of “Traveler Days”!
